Welcome

Welcome to my 365 project. I am using NE Wisconsin barns for my theme. I hope to capture a new barn every day. I would like this to be a narrative of the plight of barns in Wisconsin. Many are falling into disrepair, or are being completely removed.

Manu Road.

This is one of my favorite barns ever! It has gone through a few changes over the years. It started as a tribute to Brett Favre. After all of the waffling and hemming and hawing and finally landing in New York, the barn read "Forever in our ♥". But then, after moving to the "Land of Purple and Gold", the barn read "Forever in Our (broken) ♥. Now it reads as shown. Gotta love it!!

McCarthy Road. Love the blue tractor. If I were more bold, I would have gone right up and shot the barn through the windows....

McCarthy Road. Harvest time. I couldn't pass this by, with the fall colors and dust, it kind of gives meaning to the project. It is always good to see a working farm these days. I have taken pictures of this barn before, but in the winter covered in a blanket of snow. Today I got a better feel for it.

I took this on the way to a Brewer game. I was on a work-sponsered bus to Miller Park. Brewers clinched the division this night. It was a great day.....
