Sharing with Tricia at Bluff Area Daily (Barn Charm).
Welcome
Welcome to my 365 project. I am using NE Wisconsin barns for my theme. I hope to capture a new barn every day. I would like this to be a narrative of the plight of barns in Wisconsin. Many are falling into disrepair, or are being completely removed.
I have mirrored these images on my photography website http://robertelko.zenfolio.com/ . These images are larger, and higher in resolution. They are available for purchase.
If you are in the area, and would like to see the barns for yourself, click on the city name at the bottom of the photo. It will take you to google maps.
Thanks for stopping!!

The snow is evidently in Alaska...Cordova, to be specific, where 18 feet of the white stuff has fallen in a few weeks! No snow here in NE Oregon either, and I fear a drought next summer. Beautiful red barn....impressive size!
ReplyDeleteYes, the snow is definitely in Alaska. We've got plenty here in Fairbanks, but Cordova has really gotten more than their share with more to come. I'm sure they'd happily share with anyone who wanted it. Your barn looks gorgeous, even without a crown of white.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful red barn! Nice capture!
ReplyDeletethat is a pretty red barn! i know, where's the snow?!
ReplyDeleteA very beautiful barn...there is a barn near here that I have a lot of pics of and it is this knock your eyes out red....it always looks like I have edited the photo or something.
ReplyDeleteBoy oh boy, what a beauty! I bet you have lots of barn pics, too... I have so many that I might have to start posting nothing but barn pics just to have something to post this winter & to thin out my stock pile! LoL!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about the power lines... I've let that go for the most part, but they used to really bother me
Thanks for joining this week's Barn Charm! =)
Nice color to that old barn!
